1. Describe one thing you learned in class today:

One of the most significant things I learned the first day of class was of the unlimited potential with coding. The ability to create fascinates me. The only limitations are those we allow to occupy our minds. Out imaginations.

2. What excites or interests you about coding?:

• The vast amount of knowledge.
• The ability to create.
• The unlimited potential for growth and betterment in one's life.
• The everchanging landscape.

3. What does a doctype do?:

This tells the web browser about what version of the markup language the page is written in.

4. Explain how a browser determines what elements match a CSS selector:

By giving the selected elements (via the selector) some rules (via the declaration).
